I am an integrative counsellor, which means that I work in a way that brings together several different counselling approaches and so can tailor the type of counselling I provide depending on my clients' individual needs. I believe this is hugely important because counselling, as with many other things in life, is not 'one-size-fits-all'; each one of us is unique.
I work in private practice and my previous experience includes working as a counsellor in primary school and higher and further education settings. Prior to becoming a counsellor, I worked as a City solicitor, an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) therapist and a psychology researcher specialising in ASD and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in accordance with the BACP's Ethical Framework and strict professional standards. I am committed to keeping up-to-date with training and research in the field of counselling and psychotherapy and to continuing my professional development by taking additional courses alongside my practice
